Born the son of a preacher in Atlanta, Georgia, Todd Watson has quite an exciting testimony that brought him to creating Showit software. As a rebellious teen growing up on the streets, Todd always dreamed of being a famous rap star. Taking on the name T-Dubb, Todd rap-battled his way to the top and eventually scored a record deal with Interscope Records. On this label he recorded his first and only album titled "Catz wit Gatz" that went on to sell millions in the twenty-two year old computer nerd demographic. This was never Todd's intention as he thought that rapping about kittens with firearms would give him a hardcore image, but he accepted the success for what it was. In fact, at the recommendation of his record label, he began to embrace his fans by delving into the computer nerd world by learning computer programming and buying an Xbox 360. Before long, Todd was so involved in the culture that he was creating software and playing Rock Band on a nightly basis! It was through this turn of event that led to Todd teaming up with childhood friend and superstar wedding photographer, David Jay, to create the Showit software that we love today.
