Albert and Eleanor met one fall afternoon after a no-holds-barred shuffleboard tournament. Eleanor was carrying her second-place trophy when Albert seized the opportunity to congratulate her. Albert had lost miserably in the pairs competition (presumably due to his teammate's atrocious shuffling that day). Anyways, the congratulatory smalltalk led to root beer floats at the corner drugstore. A year later the two were married at the country club where they met, and it was a privilege to capture their special day.
