This man has a story that can make even the coldest of hearts soar. Born into a small family of little notability, Matt had always had big dreams and big plans. It all began when he was a very small boy living on the plains of Gray Mountain, Arizona. He was doing his daily chores of picking weeds and sifting dirt when he accidentally fell into an old abandoned well. Disoriented and frightened, Matt was desperately trying to climb out when he was attacked by a group of seagulls that had been nesting in the bottom of the well. Matt survived the seagull attack with very few injuries, but was left with two very damaging emotional scars. He was deathly afraid of birds and deathly afraid of the 1980s rock band, "Flock of Seagulls". The crippling effects of these fears manifested themselves numerous times throughout Matt's life. He was sadly unable to go to both the beach and his High School prom. Matt's turning point came when he saw his very first episode of Batman. It was at this point that he realized that he had to face his fears head on, as it was the only way to free him to live a normal life. He immediately got his pilot's license, bought a Flock of Seagulls Greatest Hits record, and took to the skies. The experience was beautiful and freeing as he was finally Free to Succeed as a human being. Unfortunately jet fuel is rather costly so Matt was forced to get a job at Showit to pay for it. He loves his job as his bumper sticker clearly states he'd rather be flying.
