Brett
Software Engineer
Santa Barbara, CA
The dirt-paved road that led one Brett Bollman to Showit can be traced all the way back to his days as a childhood actor. At the young age of 17, Brett was brought on to the cast of the 1980s sitcom, Growing Pains, to play a small but dramatic role as a computer programmer in Season 3, Episode 3: Taking Care of Business. In the episode, Mike Seever (Kirk Cameron) is hired by a video game company that later fires him for playing too many video games on the job. Brett played the pivotal role of the Tattle Tale that ratted Mike Seaver out, costing him his first job. Though his on screen time clocks in at just less than four and a half seconds, Brett used this appearance on his resume when applying to be a Showit Engineer. Though he isn't an actual programmer and just played one for four and a half seconds, Showit believes that Brett's raw star power and chiseled good looks are essential to their team. To this day you can find Brett on B-list celebrity reality shows uttering his famous (and only) line: "Mr. Koplan! Michael keeps on playing the Pac Mans instead of coding!"
